Woods Bagot: The Palace Rebirth

Epigroup were engaged by global architecture firm Woods Bagot, to produce a short film documenting the rebirth of The Palace building as their new head office in Perth.

With a project such as this, with so many possible angles, the most pivotal step was in pre-production where we identified the purpose for the finished product and key themes and threads that would form the story. Then, over a 4 month period, we visited weekly to capture relevant footage, timelapse and interviews with those key themes in mind. The tight timeframes meant the film had to be delivered only days after construction was complete so that it could be aired at The Palace launch night. The finished product was extremely well received by the client, as well as the 600 strong audience on launch night and the general public via The West Australian article featuring the video.
